These classic chocolate chip cookies are a family favorite recipe that never fails to deliver the perfect balance of crispy edges and chewy centers. Made with brown butter for extra depth of flavor.

Additional Time: 30 Minutes
Preheat and Prepare
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
Cream Butter and Sugars
In a large bowl, cream together softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract. Mix until well combined.
Combine Wet and Dry
Gradually mix in the flour mixture until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips.
Bake
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets. Bake for 9-11 minutes until golden brown. Cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to wire rack.
